What is Fiori?

SAP Fiori is a design system that revitalizes the traditional SAP GUI screens in the face of evolving UX designs, offering a new perspective through JS, HTML5, and CSS3 to provide a responsive experience. Standard Fiori applications can be easily installed based on the compatibility of your system version. Additionally, customized applications and designs specific to your company can also be developed. SAP Fiori applications are developed with SAPUI5, combining UI (User Interface) with HTML5 to create the abbreviation UI5.

Historical Development

SAP has already transformed more than 1500 transaction codes from the GUI into Fiori. However, direct use of all these screens is not possible. For many applications, HANA database is a prerequisite. Approximately 300 applications with AnyDB compatibility are available in the Fiori Application Library. Generally, ERP 6.0 and later versions are required to use these applications.
